Fern & Fawn is dedicated to sharing the beauty of the wild plants of the Shawangunk & Catskill Regions. We celebrate the unfolding of the seasons by working with the plants throughout their stages of growth. A wild plant is a sacred expression at every stage of it’s life. Budding, blossoming, and seed. It is our mission to work with the natural world in a way that is supportive to the regeneration of wild species & habitats. Most of our foraging is done on roadsides, where it would eventually be removed via machine by the town. All that is foraged is saved as seed, and redistributed to the land before the sleep of winter. Nothing goes to waste. It is our mission to bring a deeper awareness to the ecosystems of the wild fields & forests, so that more land can begin to be saved & protected in this region.
